May 30/07: Wow. This site is now 2 full years out of date. I've got a number of big shows coming up this year so I am planning a huge update, and this time I mean it. The first show to announce is my first solo show, opening at Bobby Five Gallery on June 14th from 8-11pm. I am also participating in a group show at Lennox Contemporary Art, opening July 10th, and will be doing another solo in Montreal at Emporium Gallery, opening November 20th. Lots of changes taking place and I'm excited to be making work regularly. Thanks to the fine fellas at Switzerland Creative Services for massive amounts of support -- read what they have to say about me on their blog here: www.switzerlandcs.blogspot.com

August 26/06: Since it may take a while for me to update the portfolio section (I'm working on a new layout), here is the painting from the Square Foot show. Click on the image to see a larger version.

August 11/06: If you are in Toronto this weekend, do yourself (or me) a favour and stop by the Toronto Festival of Beer or Wakestock and have a peek at my BIC Lighter design and painting at the BIC tent. I've got about 600 of these lighters with my design printed on them. I don't smoke, so I've either got to start using that shrine that I built, or give some away. Contact me if you'd like one!

Also, pop in to AWOL Gallery before August 27th to see the Square Foot exhibition. Tons of great art to be seen from artists from all over the world. All works are 1ft x 1ft and priced at $200 -- an absolute steal in some cases. My painting is already sold, but there's still some great work left to snap up. Get snapping!

April 20/06: I've just returned home from the BRAVE ART exhibition in Whistler inspired and full of gusto. The outcome? A long-overdue PORTFOLIO UPDATE of new paintings and illustrations. All new work in the first four rows, as well as a new drawing in the second last row. Updated CV as well. And hell, while I'm at it, why not start a few new paintings?

April 17/06: Peep my mug in today's issue of DOSE Magazine, in the centre spread feature on myself and a few of the other artists from Brave Art. Don't forget to have a laugh at the lame quotes that have been pulled out of context. I swear I'm not that corny. I'm corny, just not THAT corny.

March 28/06: Okay, so it's been a full year since I promised an update. How embarrassing. I am incubating the idea of a site overhaul, and frankly I'd rather be painting. So there you go, that's my excuse.

BUT THERE IS NEWS! I am proud to say I will be participating in this year's BRAVE ART exhibition in the unbelievably good company of such artists as SHEPARD FAIREY, DALEK, DAVE KINSEY, and many others. The show takes place at the World Ski and Snowboard Festival in Whistler BC from April 14th - 23rd. If you are in the area you'd be crazy to miss it.

March 14/05 : Well! Look for my work in this month's issue of Exclaim Magazine, and check back soon for a long-overdue update of my portfolio. This year has been good to me... New work coming soon...

April 25/04:

April 20/04: A big thank you to everyone who came out to the Exclaim! Anniversary Concert and made the pre-party art show a success. Tortoise played a hot set and lots of old familiar faces made it a night to remember. Watch for my interviews with MuchMusic and Media Television in the next couple of weeks.
